About Eric Araujo

Eric Araujo is an interdisciplinary artist from New York. His practice extends across various mediums such as sculpture, drawing, and public practices. Eric received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute and Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute.  Eric’s work has been shown in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, the di Rosa Preserve in Napa Valley, the Canzani Center Gallery at Columbus College of Art and Design, Johannson Projects in Oakland CA, Present Company in Brooklyn, Rush Arts NY, and BRIC Arts in Downtown Brooklyn. He was the recipient of The Bascom Center for the Arts Sculpture Fellowship award in 2017 which resulted in 3 large-scale permanent outdoor public works and during the summer of 2018 Eric was invited to collaborate on a new body of work with the internationally renowned artist Danh Vo on his farm studio outside Berlin.  He maintained an adjunct teacher career for 10 years both in Greece and in the United States and is owner and principal fabricator at Maven Designs LLC.
